| Hello there. The purpose of our group is collecting beautiful works of art, focused on everything that could make us smile. Everybody's free to join - just hit the "Join us" button on top of the page. "With such an audience as DA there is always going to be a broad mix of what lifts the spirit. I am sure we can find a balance point that serves a portion of group visitors through our collaboration. " Terry Bolan, our member SUBMISSION RULES: * You can submit up to 5 deviations every 7 days * You can't submit into the Featured folder * You can't submit pornographic or violent images. Photomanipulation and digital media will be accepted as long as it stays in the specified folder. *You can suggest group favorites as long as they are other people's work, not yours Feel free to send a note to =Muse-of-Thor if you have questions. ___ Submissions guide: Hey, it's easy. First, you have to upload the artwork to deviantART. I suppose everyone knows how to do this  Second, there's a button, right from the artist's comment section. It says "Submit to a Group", and after you've submitted, the group Avatar will appear there. To submit your deviation to us or any other group, just hit the button, choose a group from the list/type the group's name, and then choose the folder you want your deviation submitted in. As it says on top of this thing you're reading, we are a group for positive art. So we won't accept any depressed, violent or sad images. Anyway, submissions are subject to vote, so if the majority of voters decides your work doesn't belong here, there is nothing we can do. So, please, don't despair and send us another work. But do not resubmit already declined artworks, cause they're gonna be declined again anyway. I want to be in Contributors, what do I have to do? We still have open places for Contributors, so if you want to be in the team, send a note to =Muse-of-Thor and explain why do you want to do this. You'll get an answer shortly. *** FOLDER DESCRIPTION Since many of our members seem unsure where to submit and end up in the wrong folder, I thought it would be useful if I put a few words about every gallery folder here. People and portraits Any portrait photograph, any photograph that focuses on people - this includes everything from fashion portraits to photojournalism. (B/W and Sepia images will not be accepted, we have another folder for them) Nature Every nature-related photo that doesn't go in the Macro, Scape or Animal folder, goes here. BW and Sepia If your photo is in BW or Sepia, it shall go here. Any cathegory. Exception: animal photography - we have another folder for that. Conceptual This folder is for photography that shows an idea, a concept. No BW either. Architecture All buildings, castles, churches, houses. Without BW. Digital art Digital paintings, photomanipulations, animations - as long as it's digital, it belongs here. Traditional art Pencil, graphite, ballpoint pen drawings, paintings, papercuts - as long as it fits in the "traditional art" cathegory, it belongs here. Literature Written word belongs here. Artisan crafts Jewelry, knitting, sculpting, and everything of the sort. Animals All animal photography here, including BW and Sepia. Still Life And Misc. Still life photos and everything that can't match a cathegory go here. Macro Every macro photograph goes here. Scapes Landscapes and waterscapes go here. |
